Please join us in welcoming Johanna Witt to JABSOM as our new Associate Director of Development with the University of Hawaiʻi Foundation. Johanna joins us from Aloha United Way, where she previously served as a Business Development Manager.
Passionate about education and equity, Johanna once considered medical school herself, but financial barriers stood in the way—making her current role in development, especially working on scholarships and community initiatives, deeply meaningful.
Born in the Philippines and raised in California, Johanna has called Hawai‘i home for the past 15 years. She was drawn here by a love of surfing and the ocean, and she holds a strong appreciation for both the natural beauty of the islands and the spirit of its people.
We are excited to have Johanna on board and grateful for the dedication she brings to supporting JABSOM’s mission and the people of Hawai‘i.
