Across several dates in May, UH Mānoa will be holding a Mentoring Bootcamp. This is an opportunity for graduate students, post-docs, early stage investigators, early-career faculty and clinicians to learn from our seasoned JABSOM faculty, among others. You can register here.
Bootcamp includes 8 hours of sessions of interest to most researchers, followed by your choice of sessions focused on basic, clinical, and community research.
Hour-long sessions can be taken individually and will cover NIH mechanisms, grant structure, biosketches, communication, clinical trials, lab management, and community-based research.
Many JABSOM faculty will be presenting and sharing their knowledge with you, along with how to navigate the current environment.
Mentoring Bootcamp will be offered via Zoom for 2 hours a day (11am to 1pm) on May 13, 14, 15 (for General Sciences and Basic Research) and May 20, 21, and 22 (Clinical Research and Community Research).
