Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) and Trauma can have profound and lasting effects on an individual’s development, influencing their overall well-being and increasing the risk for a wide range of chronic conditions later in life. Learn how to screen for, address, and mitigate these effects by providing an overview of research surrounding, ACE’s, exploring effective screening tools, and discussing treatment strategies to support those affected by early trauma – fostering resilience and improving long-term health outcomes.

Dr. Nadine Burke Harris is an award-winning physician, researcher, and public health leader who has spent her career on the front lines of some of our world’s most pressing public health challenges.
