At the end of this session, physicians will be able to:

  1. Understand the 2023-24 Geriatric Medicine fellows' QAPI project about deprescribing high risk medications in four geriatrics settings
  2. Learn about a fellow research project about dietary protein intake as a predictor of mortality over five decades
  3. Learn about a fellow research project regarding loneliness and depressive symptoms in older Japanese-American men in Hawai'i
  4. Understand a medical student research project about low bioavailable testosterone predicting mortality, and its interaction with the FOXO3 genotype

Intended Audiences: Physicians, nurses, and other allied health staff who provide care for geriatric patients.
