Join Pacific Disabilities Center (PDC) for a hybrid presentation on May 22, 2024, from 1 pm - 2 pm HST. (My apologies to those of you in other timezones, as I know it will be in the evening if you choose to participate.) PDC is fortunate to have a fellow from Indonesia, Ms. Gita Nofieka Dwajayati, studying with us until next week. Among other things, she has developed an app to assist the mobility of persons with vision loss in Indonesia.
She will be giving a hybrid cultural presentation about Indonesia, about people with disabilities in Indonesia, and parallels with Hawaii. Part of the fellowship includes a reciprocal project that, if awarded, would take place in Indonesia. Ms. Dwajayati will also talk about the plans for the project during her presentation.
