It is our privilege to share an exciting upcoming panel event on Wednesday, May 22nd at 5pm co-sponsored by PSJ, SIG, and Osler Society, featuring two surgeons who recently returned from Palestine, providing emergent medical care as war wages on in Gaza.
We hope that you will all consider coming to this event to listen, learn, and stand in solidarity with our global medical community.
For those that will be joining us in person for the event, dinner will be provided. We are opening this event to the community, so if you know anyone else that would like to attend, please have them fill out the RSVP form. Since food will be provided, the deadline for in-person attendance is TOMORROW.
We recognize that everyone may have varying levels of knowledge, comfortability, and opinion on both the history and current circumstances in Palestine and Israel. We intend for this event to be a safe space for everyone to learn, and while we welcome and encourage anyone interested to attend, we ask that if you choose to join us, you please come with intentionality, humility, and an open mind and heart to hear the first-hand, vulnerable experience of providing healthcare in an active war zone.
