The campus with a heart drawing on it
The current campus of the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, opened in late 2005 in the newly developed area of Kaka’ako in Honolulu, close to the ocean. The Center for Cardiovascular Research (CCR) base is located on the third floor of the Biosciences Building and comprises ten state-of-the-art biomedical laboratories used by multiple independent investigators from diverse disciplines. The CCR houses a wide range of complementary cardiovascular interests, from basic to clinical research, all activities seeking to improve and maintain the health of the heart and the vasculature.
