Nobody does Halloween like JABSOM! Our 2025 Halloween Extravaganza was a success. This time, our Office of Medical Education (click to watch) opened the show with their version of "Wednesday Addams." Followed by our Learning Community mentors (click to watch) putting a spin on the trending "K-Pop Demon Hunters."
The student performances followed, with the MD Class of 2028 (click to watch), putting together a compilation of songs depicting JABSOM as Shiz University and following Elphaba and Glinda making it through all four years of medical school. The MD 2029 Class (click to watch) also produced their own version of Netflix hit movie but called it, "K-Pop Gunner Hunters," which focused on the message to students to focus on "why" they wanted to study medicine and remember to take breaks from studying their Anki cards. The second-yearʻs claimed this yearʻs winning title for student performances.
Mahalo to all our amazing performers, as well as our Events Team, OIT Team and JMAC, who worked behind the scenes to put the event together, made sure the music went smoothly and documented the day with photos and video. The Halloween Extravaganza continues to be a highly anticipated JABSOM tradition.
