In this interactive and hands-on event, you’ll experience live cooking demos with tastings, explore our research spaces, participate in fun, nutrition-inspired activities, and discover innovative tools that support nutrition and cancer-relevant research at the UH Cancer Center. Whether you’re considering project ideas, seeking collaboration, curious about the role of diet in research, or simply stopping by for coffee and a snack, we invite you to come talk story, connect, and explore possibilities.

Location: Translational Research Clinic @ UH Cancer Center, first floor. Please enter through the
Lēʻahi door entrance. This is a free-flowing, self-guided event, so feel free to come by anytime during the time window.
Sustainability Note: We kindly ask attendees to bring their own coffee cup to help us reduce the amount of ʻōpala we generate and support sustainability efforts.

NSSR Tool Showcase: Try out various tools, including the mobile food record, food frequency questionnaires, dietary assessment materials, and food models.
Photo Booth: Come get your Polaroid to celebrate the event!
Interactive Activities: Participate in a nutrition Myth or Fact game, contribute to the Question Wall, play with food models, and view research posters featuring past, recent, and ongoing projects supported by the NSSR.
