Our inaugural session will be an introduction to this series, featuring:

Burns School of Medicine & Queen’s Medical Center Maya Barney, RN, BSNRN Clinical Navigator, Queen’s Medical Center This ECHO initiative is part of the global Schmidt Initiative for Long COVID (SILC) and is delivered through a collaborative effort between the Hawai‘i State Rural Health Association (HSRHA) and the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), with guidance and support from the ECHO Institute at the University of New Mexico and the global SILC team.
The Asia-Pacific SILC ECHO series builds a vibrant community of practice that empowers providers with tools, knowledge, and support to confidently diagnose and manage Long COVID and related fatiguing illnesses—especially in rural and underserved communities. Through an “all teach, all learn” model, participants will connect with global and local experts, engage in real-world case discussions, and gain culturally responsive strategies grounded in interdisciplinary care.
Help us move knowledge—not people—and close gaps in Long COVID care across Hawaii and the Asia-Pacific.
