Title: Medical Gaslighting
(A Behavior in which a physician or other medical professional dismisses or downplays a patient’s physical symptoms or attributes them to something else, such as a psychological condition).

While medical gaslighting has been around since ancient times, it is only in the past few years that it was acknowledged as such and given a name. This presentation covers the definition of medical gaslighting, signs of possible medical gaslighting, who is most affected, the possible consequences, and suggestions for patients.
