Calling all creative elves! We're on the lookout for a student to craft the perfect design to grace JABSOM's official holiday card that will reach thousands of alumni, donors and community members. The artist of the winning design will also receive a gift valued at $500 and the second and third place winners will receive gift cards valued at $250 and $100, respectively-- all thanks to the generous support of our very own JABSOM alum, Dr. Kathryn Ko, Class of 1983.
Artwork should reflect a combination of JABSOM, Hawaiʻi and the Holiday Season.
Any undergraduate or graduate student currently attending the John A. Burns School of Medicine in good academic and judicial standing. Multiple entries from the same artist are acceptable.
Entries will be accepted until 5:00pm on Monday, October 2nd. Artwork must be submitted electronically via the online entry form.
NOTE: A high resolution image of at least 6000 pixels wide and 300dpi will be requested of the winning submission. Artwork files may be edited to reflect final language, messaging and JABSOM brand standards. JABSOM also reserves the right to alter the submitted artwork to ensure it meets accessibility and other parameters.
JABSOM will retain all reproduction rights to submitted artwork with credit given to the artist. JABSOM agrees not to sell any of the artwork or any reproduction of the artwork. Artists warrant that they are the sole proprietor of the artwork and agree to assign all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the artwork to JABSOM. Entries must be original concept and constitute an original work and must not infringe on the protected rights of other artists or violate any applicable copyright laws.
