Amy Lower, MS, CCC-SLP
Ms. Amy Lower is the new Clinic Manager for the Speech and Hearing Clinic, the clinical site for the Department of Communications Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the John A. Burns School of Medicine. She lectures on motor speech disorders and voice disorders and specializes in voice therapy and professional voice care. Amy is collaborating with Henry Lew, MD, PhD, and Alaina Davis, PhD on research projects investigating the efficacy and durability of cognitive rehabilitation in patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and exploring the cost effectiveness of telehealth delivery of speech therapy services.
Amy is also the International Educational Coordinator for the CSD department's online Prerequisite Certification Program (PCP) and has worked with Dr. Henry Lew on international projects with China,Taiwan and Japan. She is currently the Director of Educational Affairs for the Hawai‘i Speech-Language Hearing Association.
