Michael Kusaka, MD
Dr. Michael Kusaka is currently the Director of Straub Occupational Health Services. He received his medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He then went to the University of Minnesota to obtain his Master’s in Public Health in Community Health Education. He returned to the Mayo Clinic to complete a fellowship in Preventive Medicine.
He has been a physician at the Straub Clinic since 1989. As a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine since its inception in 1991, he continues to provide travel advice in the Straub Travel Clinic.
