Shari L. Kogan, MD, FACP

Dr. Shari L. Kogan is Medical Director of Geriatric Services/Progressive Care Unit at The Queen's Medical Center and Clinical Associate Professor of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Dr. Kogan received the Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from State University of New York at Binghamton. She earned the MD degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and subsequently completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Overlook Hospital in New York. She was a John A. Hartford Faculty Scholar and completed her geriatric medicine fellowship at the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Dr. Kogan has also served in the United States Air Force at Keesler Technical Training Center Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi. An honor bestowed upon her in 2002 was selection as The Queen's Medical Center's Outstanding Physician.(AFP).

Dr. Kogan has three children.
