The annual Hawai’i Healthcare Workforce Summit, sponsored by the University of Hawai’i John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Area Health Education Center, comes your way on September 9, 2017. Registration is open now. The title of the 2017 summit is “Reinvigorating Your Practice in Times of Change.” Six hundred participants are expected for what has become one of the largest local medical gatherings in our state. The summit appeals to members of the health care workforce spectrum, including MD’s, DO’s, Dentists, Allied Health, APRNs, PAs, Office Managers and more!

Carl Taylor, How To Survive In A Hostile Environment
Madam Liu Ya Fei, Qi Gong master, Hebei Medical Qi Gong Hospital, Qi Gong and Tai Chi for Burnout Prevention

Same day inter-island airfare is provided free for physicians and Hawai’i State Rural Health Association members who have requested travel in advance.
Topics cover medical and dental topics, practice resources for expanding reimbursement, telehealth, geriatrics, interprofessional practice and healthcare provider happiness. Participants are encouraged to network with colleagues and meet potential future colleagues-students and residents.
