Admissions (Graduate Programs)

Communication Sciences and Disorders operates a speech and hearing clinic in its offices at 677 Ala Moana Boulevard.
Admission Requirements
Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD) and Biomedical Sciences, including: Admissions Application Deadlines

1) Graduate Division
admissions standard and documentation requirements, and
2) Program specific admissions criteria and documentation requirements (see below). See individual programs for coursework requirements and additional program-specific forms and requirements.
- Applicants to all programs must submit the following to the Graduate Admissions Office:
- Completed Graduate Admissions Application
- Application fee
- One Official Transcript for each post-secondary institution attended
- In addition, certain applicants may be required to submit the following:
- Official Standardized Exam Scores
- Residency Declaration Form
- Official TOEFL or IELTS Exam Scores

Application Fee
Application fee is $100 for all applicants. No application fee waivers or deferments are granted.
Note: An additional application fee is required for applicants to the CSD program.
Applicants may pay by credit card, check or money order. Do NOT send cash. Payment by check or money order must be in U.S. dollars, drawn on a U.S. bank, and made payable to the University of Hawai’i. Applicants should include their full name and date of birth on the payment.
Submission of Program Specific Documentation Requirements
Official transcripts and TOEFL and GRE scores should be sent directly to Graduate Division Student Services. All program specific documentation requirements should be sent directly to the graduate program.
Applicants to the CSD program are encouraged to contact the program directly (http://csd.jabsom.hawaii.edu) as program-specific courses and applications are required.
Please note that GRE scores may be required by the graduate program (see above) or by the Graduate Division
