The 2nd international Health Span Hawaii Summit (www.healthspanhawaii.com) convenes in Honolulu from November 3–5, 2019, at the Hawaii Convention Center.
Dr. Mario Capecchi, winner of the 2007 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, will be our keynote speaker along with Hawaii State Lieutenant Governor Josh Green. The Summit will have improvement of patient health span as an overriding theme, with several principal focal tracks from which attendees may choose, among them:
Dr. Michele Carbone of the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii Cancer Center invites all MD and UH Graduate students and faculty to submit abstracts for consideration. For students or young investigators, there are four Poster Presentation opportunities and a chance to compete for Poster Presentation Awards. In addition, the winners will have their award presented to them by Dr. Mario Capecchi, along with an opportunity to meet with him.
**Updated Registration Fees have been reduced for both Students and Faculty for the Health Span Hawaii Summit. Student rate is now only $50, and Faculty can use the special Discount Code for UH: “faculty” when they register as Kamaaina and receive a 25% discount automatically.
