October 27th, 2017

12:00 PM - 1:15 PM

Our MD students (1st and 2nd year) invite you to the annual John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Halloween Spooktravaganza, starting around 12:30 to 1 p.m.-ish, (to be announced). It is definitely in the Medical Education Building Lobby on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017. As always, it’s fueled by the creativeness of our students, inspired because they dress up to host costumed Halloween carnivals for homeless keiki. This occurs at sites where the volunteer medical students of the University of Hawaiʻi HOME (“Homeless Outreach and Medical Education”) Project provide wellness checkups and free health services to the homeless all year long. Come dressed for Halloween, and take part in show and costume contest — it is incredible FUN!!
