1:00 PM - 2:15 PM

Our MD students (1st and 2nd year) invite you to the annual John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Halloween Spooktravaganza, starting around 1 p.m. in the Medical Education Building Lobby on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017. As always, the celebration is fueled by the creativeness of our students, inspired to be creative, since they dress up to host costumed Halloween carnivals for homeless keiki at O’ahu shelters. (The Halloween carnivals are held at sites where the volunteer medical students of the University of Hawaiʻi H.O.M.E., “Homeless Outreach and Medical Education” Project provide wellness checkups and free health services to the homeless all year long.

For the Spooktacular Extravaganza at JABSOM, come dressed for Halloween, and take part in show and costume contest — it is incredible FUN!! ALL JABSOM employees, students and affiliated programs are welcome!

Kara Paul, the MS2 Health & Wellness Chair, is in charge of running this event.
