Interested in Healthcare? Medical students from the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), other health professions students and community health partners want to spend the day showing YOU what they actually DO! Middle and high school students are invited to spend an exciting day participating in healthcare activities. The camp is FREE and lunch is provided. Hele mai and spend the day learning from medical students, health professionals and community organizations.

Workshops include:
Casting Call (Make a mess while you put an actual cast on another participant), Stitch It Up (Use real medical tools to suture a deep gash on a life-like arm), Local Grindz (Find out what’s really in your food), Infectious Disease (What are your chances of getting Zika?) and Clinical Skills (You be the doctor! Use the tools physicians use everyday to check heart rate and reflexes).
