January 16/17: Hawai’i Conference on HIV Prevention and Cure efforts

On January 16, the Hawaiʻi Center for AIDS invites you to a full day conference dedicated to HIV prevention in the morning and HIV cure in the afternoon. This conference is a coordinated effort by all HIV/AIDS-related organizations in Hawaiʻi: Hawaiʻi Center for AIDS, Chow Project, State of Hawaiʻi Department of Health with attendance by the Life Foundation, Gregory House, Waikīkī Health, and neighbor island agencies (Hawaiʻi Island HIV/AIDS Foundation, Mālama Pono, Maui AIDS Foundation). Eight U.S. Mainland and International Immunology Chair Experts will appear to speak about the effort toward an HIV Cure. The Hawaiʻi Department of Health (DOH) will share new Hawaiʻi-specific surveillance data.

On January 17, we also invite HIV community leaders and medical/health professionals to attend a discussion with the Hawaiʻi State DOH to develop a Hawaiʻi-specific strategy for Hawaiʻi to Zero.
