The ANNUAL BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES and HEALTH DISPARITIES SYMPOSIUM is scheduled for April 20 and 21, 2017 at the Kakaʻako campus! The symposium, sponsored by the John A. Burns School of Medicine, National Institutes of Health grants: RMATRIX, RCMI and INBRE III grants, and is coordinated by the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Program. The location is the Sullivan Conference Center on the University of Hawai’i Cancer Center (Kaka’ako) ground floor.

Applicants will present their research in poster format, in the following Divisions:

Undergraduates*
Graduates*
Medical Students*
Residents*
Post-Doctoral Research Associates*
Faculty
(*Faculty sponsor required)

The schedule of presentations is as follows:

April 20 9-11:30 Medical and Faculty Session
1-3:30 Post Docs and graduate students

April 21 9-11:30 all other graduate students, technicians and Post Docs
1:00-3:30 undergraduates
