The Office of Fiscal and Administrative Affairs (OFAA) approves and controls expenditures, initiates, oversees, and tracks all personnel transactions, acquires and monitors all equipment and property assigned to the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), procures and pays for all supplies needed for JABSOM’s operations. The office also prepares periodic financial and other management reports to support the Dean and Associate Dean in the management of JABSOM operations. OFAA assists in the implementation and administration of research and training contracts and grants. OFAA is responsible for developing appropriate accounting systems for analyzing and reporting data generated by those systems.
